Birthdays and Parties |
We love parties ... princess and otherwise!
We are from Louisiana, where the tradition of celebrating with family and friends runs deep. Entertaining and feeding guests is a joy!
(The entertainment is where Angeli comes in.)
Imagine you are hosting a party for your own very special little princess. The Cinderella Carriage is gorgeously decorated OR we'll custom decorate if you like!
"My those are sparkly shoes!"
Here we are working with Larissa Clark (the Mary Poppins and Cinderella in these photos)!
And let's not forget the cowboys. Or maybe your little girl is really a cowgirl! We're happy to wear our boots and cowboy hats too!
Birthday girls and boys of all ages love horse-drawn carriages! Below are brothers riding with their young sister and her friends on her birthday.
Whatever the event or location, we can add to the fun! Take a tour downtown or we will bring horses and carriages to you.
Your entertainment will get a lot of attention.
Expect a lot of smiles. Maybe some amazement, too.
Of course birthdays are right up there at the top of good reasons to celebrate, but there are others.
Imagine this - a polo match combined with a family-style office party complete with music, food and more!
The amazing horsemanship and magnicent polo ponies was thrilling.
There were hundreds of guests: office staff, clients, vendors, their families and many friends.
After the second and fourth chukkas (periods of play), spectators were invited on the field to "stamp the divots".
It helps smooth the field a bit, and guests get to walk around and socialize.
The host kicked the fun up a notch by having a crew on the field pouring champagne for the adult divot stampers. Woohoo!
They rode on to the field in back of a shiny red pickup and on our carriage.
Naturally, everyone wanted to visit with their wonderful host, but we snagged him for a couple of photos. Nicest guy you ever met.
Elysian was pretty popular. He is soaking up the attention here.
He was completly relaxed amid all the excitement and novelty. What a big, wonderful boy he is.
Elysian is particularly fond of children. He loves to sniff them. One of our Coachwomen is standing by his head, just to ensure their safety.
His work done, Elysian poses with Fiona. You can really get an idea of his size here. (Plus, we just thought he looked very handsome in this photo.)

Family Reunions |
Juneteenth Celebration + Family Reunion
+ 96th Birthday Party Surprise Carriage
Hattie wanted to surprise her mother with a birthday carriage. The date coincided with Juneteenth.
Her mother had talked for months of wanting a "buggy ride" after seeing the horse-drawn carriage at a family wedding.
Her mother, Itaily (no misspelling), would be celebrating her 96th birthday with extended family at Hattie's home.
Yes, we would love to make this surprise "buggy ride" happen! And we think we have the perfect carriage for it--a vintage-styled
Victorian Park Carriage, custom built for us with the graceful, sweeping lines of elegant carriages in the late 1800's.
Here is Hattie and her mother, Itaily on the carriage.
Miss Itaily is amazing--she was dancing to Aretha's Respect when we arrived. We love Aretha, so that was cool on many levels.
Elysian is SO careful around children, often "freezing" his feet when they are near.
Below is a young relative, our birthday girl, Itaily, her sister, Edna, and Itaily's daughter (and our client), Hattie.
Edna, age 98, and her sister, the birthday girl, Itaily, age 96.
The whole family is wonderful, but we mostly talked with the women. They have a wry humor that made us laugh all afternoon!
A young cousin's granddaughter captured our hearts this day.
She wanted to help us keep Elysian cool on this summer afternoon. Raised around her Grandfather's horses, she is obviously horse-savvy. Delightful and impressive!
Below, Andre escorts Itaily who wanted her photo with the horse. You can see her daughter, Hattie, smiling proudly just behind Elysian.
